like in the year 2011, the no of valencies is near about 400.

next year it will may increase or decrease. it will depend on the no of postion required.

In the 2013 IES Exams UPSC has advertised that approx number of vacancies would be around 763.
Individual Breakup for each stream has not been given.


Educational Qualifications required to apply for this exams is:

>> BE/BTECH pass in any stream

OR
>> Passed section A and Section B of Instution examinations of Institution of Engineers


Age-
Minimum 21 years
Maximum 30 years
OBC gets 3 years and SC/ST gets 5 years age relaxations
