In India only National Museum Institute runs Short term course / Certificate Course in Museology.

NMI (National Museum Institute) offered following courses in Museology.

1. Art Appreciation (It covers Indian Art and Global Art)
2. Bharatiya Kalanidhi

These courses are meant to be know about Indian and Global arts like:

1. Paintings
2. Architectures
3. Sculptures
4. Decorative Arts
5. Tribal Arts
6. Western Arts etc.

Admission:

NMI posts notification about admission in newspaper every year. You can also log on www.nmi.gov.in to know more about admission notification.

Duration:

Duration is five months for these courses.

Teaching Pettern:

Total 20 lectures will be delivered by professionals.

Art Appreciation: Every Thursday: between 05:30 PM to 07:30 PM

Bharatiya Kalanidhi: Every Tuesday: between 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM

Venue:

Auditorium, National Museum and Conference Hall, NMI, Janpath, New Delhi

Certificate:

Once you will get minimum 50% of marks in assignment given by lecturers. you will get certificate for these courses.
