I want to know how prepare are nedeed for this exam?

You need to prepare for preliminary and mains exam to pass IAS. Preliminary level comprises of questions on Indian Polity, Indian Constitution, Quantitative Aptitude and Indian/World Geography. Mains exam will be based on the optional subject selected. Exam preparation on these topics can be done with the help of reference books and previous year questions. Training under any of the coaching centers will also help you in study.

For preparation for IAS exam here are following tips:
1.Read newspaper daily
2.Listen to news channel
3.Prepare aptitude from rs aggarwal
4.Study cbse books from class 6th till 10th
5.Prepare yourself on indian economy etc ....
6.Chose your optionals very carefully
7.Study daily for 4-5 yrs
8.Never skip your studies for even single day....
