Information about minimum age to appear in CBSE X exam
Hi Team,
1) Few are saying that age to appear in CBSE board exams is 14 years completed by Dec 31. 2) Few are saying that age should be 15 years completed by dec 31 before they appear for exam. 3) Few are saying that 14 years 6 months when they appear for exam. My daughter falls under 1st category. Kindly confirm which one is correct. Based on that I will decide, whether to keep her in the same class or to move on. |

As per my knowledge the minimum age required to appear in class 10th CBSE exam is 14 and maximum should not exceed 16 years.
So you can accordingly appear in the CBSE board exam. |

Yes your daughter is eligible to appear for the CBSE 10th board examination with 14 years crossed and should not exceed 16 years minimum to appear for the 10th board examination
CBSE is the Central Board of secondary education which conducts the examination for school board and all the central schools will get the certificates from the CBSE board,For appearing for the 10th class there are minimum age limits to be satisfied before appearing such as

CBSE stands for Central Board of Secondary Education The minimum age criteria to be appear in 10th board exam is at least 14 years 6 months maximum age limit is not set yet What when your age is less than 14 years 6 months you are not eligible to appear in X exam. |

CBSE stands for Central Board of Secondary Education and it is one of the three Central Board of India providing education upto higher secondary level in English medium having its school all across India and abroad too.
As per the CBSE circular for 2016-2017 session and further the minimum age of a candidate to be eligible for CBSE Class 10th board examination one's age must not be less than 14 years and 5 years by the 1st March of the year in which he/she is going to appear in their board examination. So as your daughter lie in the category first which means that she does not satisfy the above mentioned age criteria and hence not eligible to appear in the CBSE Class 10th board examination.
