For IBPS, there are no marks criteria. So, you can appear for it. However certain banks imply their own restrictions, which is where you need to be careful.

Re: Can I give Bank Clerk Exams having secured 44% in 12th?
bank exams one needs 60% marks in 10+2 standard to apply. If you are having 60% marks in 10+2, then you can apply for clerk exam in any exam. Some banks are providing the facilities to apply for bank exam to those who have only passing marks in graduation.
For the clerical jobs in public sector banks like sbi, syndicate, union bank, andhra bank you need to have a minimum of 55% and it might be the same for almost all private sector banks like ICICI, and axis banks. The procedure would be written test followed by interview and sometimes some private sector banks like ICICI, they may also conduct group discussion in addition to written test and interview. The written test may consist of 1.reasoning 2.quantitative aptitude 3.general english 4.general awareness 5.computer awareness. There is negative marking too and it is mostly 1/4 th. |
