Please give the details about various entrance test for MTech course in the field of computer science in Maharashtra and Karnataka

For getting admission in M.Tech in Maharashtra -
1. You can appear for Gate Exam. Admission can get on the basis of gate score in any college.
2. Some colleges have there separate exam for getting admission in M. Tech/M.E. like COEP, VJTI...
Most of the colleges take their private entrance exam for filling vacancies in second round.

GATE is a common exam through which you can get admission for m.tech in any college or university if you have enough GATE score according to that college...

Another way is in every state there is Common Entrance Test for PG will be conducted every year for the Sake of PG admissions... through that also you can get admission in M.tech..

in Karnataka the CET name is KCET....

Actually, In maharashtra, there is no common entrance has yet started for M. Tech. admission.
In karnataka , there is common entrance for PG admission, it is "KPGCET"
