now i am pursuing msc biotechnology. i am not interested in research but want to do job in this field. but i don't know about the job vacancies in this field. i want to built up my carrer in biotechnology field. can i get informations about the job vacancies. i am intersted in teaching field also.

job profile in this field is really good.

besides gov.sector you can also work in private sector.

you can work in drug companies,food and breverage companies,in pathology centres,teacher or lecturer at colleges etc.

There are many good oppurtuinities in biotechnology.

Qulify for NET, you can apply as lecturar. if you apply on the basis of NET then you can go to government sector and a very good salary.

In the coming few years, there's going to be many job oppurtunities in this field because according to the experts, more than 150 foreign firms are likely to outsource research and development jobs in India.
Apart from that, job prospects in the field of biotechnology in present scenario is not bad too. You may join biotech companies, government bodies, can also approach for managerial position in agri-biotech firms and ofcourse teaching is one of the better options.

There is great oppurtunities for you. You shoild either go in government sector or pvt sector or even teaching field.
So decide according to your choice. For govt. and pvt sectors there are many advertisements released from time to time so keep watching them and apply for it . You will definately get a good job with hansom e salary package.
There is huge demand of techically skilled employees in this sector according to a survey. Food processing companies are going to hire people like you.

After Pg you will be able to get starting salary from 15,000-20,000 which can increase in future according to your job performance and talent.
As far as government is concerned the starting salary will be atleast from 20,000 wherever PG qualification is asked.

after doing MSc in private you will get 15,000-20,000 as a biginner and it will increase furthet on the basis of your performance and talent.
In government sector it will not be less than 20,000 if PG is taken into consideration

Biotechnology is the field of research, but you are not interested in research.you can take UGC-NET,which will lead you to lecturer post.remember take the NET subject you have in your graduation & post graduation.

i would be completing my bsc in biotech from Rajasthan University. I put up in delhi.
I am very confused whether to pursue MSc in biotech or change my stream (do MBA or mass comm) as i don't wish to research or teach & private sector jobs are not much in india & neither the pay is good.
Please guide me through.

hi of course there are lots of job in this field you may go in drug industries like dr. reddy ltd, pfyzer limited, lupin india limited , cipla ltd, rainbaxy ltd these all sector is having there research labs and they call for biotech student either BTECH or msc or phd now apart from that you may join any pharma college as a lecturer and this is very simple task for a student having biotech degree with good percentage . for research labs job you may visit their official site for getting notifications
