Yes, you can apply for defense service after completion of B.tech in EEE stream.
You have mention that you are in 3rd year now, then when you will be in final year of your bachelor degree then you can apply for defense service..

For that you have to appear in exams like- CDSE(combined defense service exam), UES(University entry scheme) etc..

Eligibility for CDS:-

For Indian Military Academy:-
* The candidate must have complete the graduation in any trade..
* The candidates age should be in between 19-24 years..

For Navy:-
*The candidate must have complete the graduation in engineering field..
*The candidates age should be in between 19-22 years.

For Air force:-
*The candidate must have complete the graduation in any trade, but must have physics and maths in 12th..
*The candidates age should be in between 19-23 years..

For UES:-

Eligibility criteria:-
*The candidate must have complete the bachelor degree in engineering field with 60% aggregate in graduation..
*The candidates age should be in between 18-28 years..
