The best way to enter in to the Indian Army after bachelor's degree is through the Combined defense services examination held twice every year by the UPSC.

CDS is conducted for selection of candidates for the serving in the following different academies :

1.Indian Military academy

2.Indian Naval academy

3.Indian Airforce academy

4.Officer's training academy

Basic requirements for the exam:

>>Being a bachelor's degree candidate you can apply for the exam as the bachelor's degree is the minimum requirement.

>>You age should between 19-24 for the IMA,19-22 for the INA,19-25 for the OTA and 19-23 years for the IAF.

>>You must be an Indian unmarried male or female .You should also satisfy the physical requirements for the exam.

You can apply for the upcoming CDS exam 2 at the www.upsconline.nic.in

Examination pattern:

Note: AFter clearing this written test you have to appear for the Service Selection Board and medical examination and clearing all this you will be able to get good respectable in Indian army at respectable post.

After B.Com. one can join Indian Military Academy and Officer's Training Academy through cracking CDS entrance exam.

CDS - Combined Defence Service, the exam for which is conducted twice every year as CDS-I and CDS-II for an entry in to Indian Military Academy, Naval Academy, Air Force Academy and Officer's Training Academy.

The eligible candidate must be an Indian unmarried National having either appear for the final Graduation Degree in any stream from a recognised University within the age of 19 to 25 years(19 to 24 years for IMA and 19 to 25 years for OTA) with good Physical and Mental health.

The selection is through written exam followed by personal interview along with physical fitness and medical test.

After passing B.Com you can join Indian Army.

For Joining Indian Army you have to qualify the Combined Defence Services.

Combined Defence Services exam is conducts by U.P.S.C twice in a year.

COMBINED DEFENCE SERVICES

C.D.S exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year.

Candidate who pass the graduation in stream is eligible for this exam.

Age should be in between 19-24 year.

This exam is conducted in three stage:-
> Written exam
> Interview
> Medical exam
