Last date for submitting the IES application for 2010-2011 is already over; it was 5th July, 2010. For 2011-2012, the notifications are yet to be announced. Please keep checking http://www.upsc.gov.in/exams/exams.htm for more updates on IES application form and exam dates.

The new dates are yet not declared. The notification is expected in january, form will be filled in feb and exam in june 2011

Release of Notification: 2011

Last date of submission of application form: 1st week of February, 2011

Date of Examination: third or last week of May, 2011

Important Dates:

Last date for submission of application form: last of January or beginning of February, 2011.

Date of Preliminary Examination of Civil Service Examination: third or last week of May, 2011.

You can get it from the head post offices at your location at Rs 20-25.

1. IES Exam-2010 Notification: 9th January, 2010 (Saturday)

2. IES Exam-2010 last date of form receipt: 8th February, 2010 (Monday).

3. IES Exam-2010 Written Exam date: 5th June, 2010 (Saturday)

IES Exam-2011 Dates: -

1. IES Exam-2011 Notification: 8th January, 2011 (Saturday)

2. IES Exam-2011 last date of form receipt: 7th February, 2011 (Monday).

IMPORTANT DATE FOR I.E.S./I.S.S. EXAM., 2012
DATE OF NOTIFICATION:- 18.08.2012
LAST OF RECITE OF FORM:- 17.09.2012(MONDAY)
DATE OF EXAM:- 01.12.2012 (SATURDAY)

Date of UPSC Engineering Services Exam 2012 Notifications: 25th Feb' 2012
Last Date For UPSC Engineering Services application form submission: 26th March' 2012 (Monday).
Date of UPSC Engineering Services Entrance Commencement: UPSC Engg Services admission test will be conducted on 15th June'2012 (Friday) & duration will be of 3 days.

where to get online application form for ies?

IES stand for Indian Engineering Service which is conducted by UPSC.Only B-TECH degree holder and some M.Sc department are applicable for this exam.

If you have completed engineering discipline in following departments then you are eligible for IES exam

1.Civil Engineering
2.Electrical Engineering
3.Mechanical engineering.
4.Electronics and Communication Engineering.

If you have M.Sc degree in Physics , Radio Physics then you are applicable for IES exam.

The applicant age should between 21 yrs to 30 yrs.Age relaxation is provide for SC/ST/OBC candidate.

Final year student also eligible for IES exam .

Number of attempts for IES exam is for general student it is 4., for OBC it is 7 times. and for SC/ST it is 9 time.
