and the procedure include the form filling and facing the exam ........

hello friend..........
everyone who has the degree of the graduation or b tech with minimum of the 60% are eligible to fill and apply for the exam
and also the people residing in the remote area can also apply
but he or she has to be the citizen of india

Indian Engineering Service exam is conducted by upsc every year once.This exam is conducted to intake qualified engineers for Government sector in different departments.

Eligibility criteria for Indian Engineering Service exam:
Education qualification:
Candidate should minimum graduation degree in Engineering from a Mechanical/Civil/Electric Stream.
Age limit:
Age should be between 21 to 30 years.

Indian Engineering Service exam notification for this year:
Issue of application form from 25th Feb 2012 to 24th March 2012.
Exam will held on 15th June 2012.

this exam is conducted by UPSC every year, this exam is only for engineering graduates in any one them from the list that i have listed below-
1.electronics
2.civil
3.mechanical
4.electrical & communication engineering....


the age limit for this exam is 21-30,.
there are 5 & 3 years of relaxation are given to SC\ST candidates

and date of notification: 25/05/2012
last date : 24/03/2012
exam date : 15/06/2012
so every candidate having a degree with engineering with mech/civil/electical/et&T
and age between 21 to 30 year old can apply for ies exam.
