GATE stands for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering and is an all India examination administered and conducted jointly by the Indian Institute of Science and seven Indian Institutes of Technology on behalf of the National Coordination Board. * To eligible for GATE exam,you should have completed or in final of B.Tech course with any branch from a recognized university. Important dates- Date of notification: 01-09-12 Last date for receipt of application: 30-09-12 Pattern of Gate exam : - In Gate exam all the questions are objective type. - Gate question paper consists of 65 questions. - There is negative marking in GATE exam .
