Karnataka State Open University (KSOU) is recognized by UGC (University Grants Commission) and Distance Education Council(DEC) but it is not approved by AICTE.So,if you want to get a M.Tech degree you can join in the university,but when you are applying for any job if the companies releases the notifications that the candidates should have completed the graduation from a AICTE affiliated colleges,then you will not be eligible to apply for the jobs.

KSOU is i think is fake one is original website is very different karnatakastateopenuniversity.in but more fake like KSOU.COM AND KSOUKARNATAKA.COM LIKE BUT in open university is offering only arts and science courses not engineering courses.

I am 4th sem Mtech (IT) student the date of exam are not yet come . Will I be able to complete my course or is it going to be a waste of 2 years for me.
The exam was supposed to be on Dec last week or by Jan 2016. ANYBODY HAS ANY IDEA ON THIS MATTER.
