Dear Friend,
Engineering is a professional course. BSc IT is an arts course . to survive as a software engg in an IT industry you need to secure an Engineering degree or a Post graduation in Science(MSC ). |

Re: Main difference between BSc IT and Computer Engineering? Which field has more scope?
Guys I will explain you.
If you do bsc it you will get a job in same company where the person holding computer engineering may get... The difference is in you... You should posses skills that are required by some company or firm who wants to hire some one... of course also you can do MS after BSC it also depends on your MS Entrance exam scores.. I have friends completed bsc it, bca and working in reputed firm having good position and also B.E people working there.. So guys make up your mind computer technology is very vast even if it is a B.E. holder or bsc certificate holder all it matters is skills and the experience you have in your skillset :) Choosing between BE and bsc it depends on the persons interest.. If you go for BE then you will have to learn some decent amount of electronics stuffs and if your sole motto is become a software developer then even bsc.it will do :) ofcourse then you have options for global certifications like ocjp, ccna , rhcp. and it goes on unless you have thirst for knowledge .. If you want to enjoy your college life then please go for BSC it you will have much time as compared to BE their portion is vast and half of your time will be wasted in completing termwork .. This is my personal opinion and I am sorry if it hurted some one :) but i have experienced things so i felt like sharing.. thank you :) ps: DRDO people select the people who have vast experience in skillset who have good technical knowledge (GEEKS) and not the people having degrees (book worms) lol :P |
