see it totally depend upon the cutoff marks.last year it was 228 for general and 205 for obc.so you have to score atleast 250 for a safe ground.

there is nothing about the certainity in the possible cutoff marking system,.
but as approx..you should have to get at least 50% in marks.
For appear in this examination [IIT-JEE], you must possess 12th degree in PCM with at least 60%.
the age limit for this examination is 17-25 years,.
But there are only two consecutive years of chances are given to the candidates to participate in this examination just after the passing of 12th.

i have not prepared foe jee. can i prepare it in just 1 month in which my board exam also held? If yes then please tell me the way for preparing.... thanx

If you are interested in IIt JEE
then you will have to hold these criteria

>>You must have PCM in the 12th standard exam
>>You must have minimum 60% marks in 12th standard exam
>>You should hold minimum 75% marks in PCM
>>There should not be any active backlogs

If you have all these criteria
Then you are eligibll for IIT JEE

the cutoff marks for iit jee 2012 paper were announced. they are very less when compared to previous years . Is it true that the paper of this year is very tough as per the estimation.
