like from science for higher studies we've to choose any of one either physics or math or chemistry.
same you need to choose from civil engineering tpoics-- like survey or anything which you can find in GATE site. GATE - an entrance exam to do masters from any of IIT'S or NIT'S.
there is a link which can help you

Well, there is no denying that the IITs and NITs are the best when it comes to engineering degrees and this is as much true for Masters in Civil Engineering. I'll name a few:

Indian Institute of Technology, Chennai
Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur
Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur
Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai
Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee
National Institute of Technology, Tamilnadu
National Institute of Technology, Warangal and so on.

For admission in any these institutes, you will have to crack the GATE Exam with good score/rank.

Among other renowned institutes offering ME/MTech in Civil Engineering are institutes like Anna University, BITS, etc.

dear friend,
Masters Degree in Civil Engineering will be better ,if you do M.Tech and
for doing it from good college ,you have to score good in GATE exam .
For getting good percentile your basic concept should be good and you have to work hard for it.It will be better if you join a coaching institute like GATEforum as they provide
study materials and and give easy tricks to solve the paper.

The selection of the course depends on your interest. Civil is a vast field and you can do lots of things after you BE like Autocad,Environmental engg,Irrigation engg,Roads etc

So first think what attracts you more and what you want to explore in more detail

best of luck

Yes of course.......!

Besides, IIT's, NIT's, Demeed Universities there are large number of institutes which accept GATE scores. I think almost all except GATE even Open Universioties like- IGNOU.

So, if you wont able to get TOP Institutes no problem at all, just try to find the institute according o your score and percentile.

Best of Luck

The main courses in civil engineering offered by the institutes are
