Re: Is MBA after Aeronautical engineering valuable?
Yes definately its valuable.Actually MBA is totally a different field from Aeronautical Engineering. So apart from techinical skills which you already gained from aeronautical engg you will also be gifted with Managerial skills after you complete your MBA
So on the whole you will be an all round person with a good personality. So go for it. Best of luck |

Re: Is MBA after Aeronautical engineering valuable?
Dear Friend,
Pursuing MBA after any Engineering course is of Great worth. You will have many benefits in this behalf. Some are... 1. You will become a Double degree holder. 2. You can apply for the jobs related to MBA / Engg(Aero) / BOTH 3. when you apply for Aeronautical Jobs, you can directly get into Administrative Department as a MBA. 4. You have great opportunities Abroad too.(salaries around $4500+) Hence, I recommend strongly to proceed with your plan. But if you are planning to pursue both at the same time, quit MBA for now and do it after Engg. Regards, MASK |

Re: Is MBA after Aeronautical engineering valuable?
Hello friend,
Aeronautical engineering and MBA, are two completely different career options. The technical knowledge of aeronautical engineering has nothing to do with MBA. If you complete your MBA, you will be offered managerial postion in the field of your specialisation. Now, if you are not interested in the engineering department, you can definitely pursue MBA but after completion of the course, you will have to face tough competition. Every second individual, now a days, are interested in MBA. In the coming years, the availibility of MBA holders will be more than the requirement. So, its always better to go for higher studies in the similar stream for better and secured career. |

Because after aeronautical engineering, you will get technical skills & after MBA you will get some management skills which is very demanded now a days & you will be hired by many reputed companies. kindly do MBA without any hesitation. Re: Is MBA after Aeronautical engineering valuable?
I do not know what has made you think of such a combo of degrees, that too when you have not yet started. Is it because you would like managerial jobs? Or is it that you are doubting the prospects of Aeronautical Engineering?
If it is the first reason, then proceed as you plan for the MBA will certainly help you acquire managerial skills. But if it is the second then I'll try to allay your fears. Aeronautical Engineering is indeed a very advanced, interesting and promising field of Engineering...you will be trained in the technology of designing, developing and maintaining aircrafts, spacecrafts, rockets, satellites and missiles, etc. (In other words, Aeronautical Engineering grooms you for purely technical/mechanical jobs.) Completing your Aeronautical Engineering degree will open for you the doors of various national/international, public/private Airlines, Aircraft-manufacturers, etc. You may even be absorbed by the Defense Services or the Civil Aviation Department or land a job with the Indian Space Research Organisation. There will be abundant opportunities abroad as well. So, you will first need to complete your degree and judge your aptitude. |

Re: Is MBA after Aeronautical engineering valuable?
I'm an aeronautical engg pre final year student. I understand that my technical knowledge now is average. I'm not getting interest in doing higher studies in my stream. So i'm planning to join air force in technical branch or do mba in aviation. But i have sight problem. Will they accept me in air force? Or doing mba in aviation is good for me? I'm deeply confused. I kindly request you to give me gud suggestion. Plzz....
