Wat are the minimum marks required for clearing bits pilani entrance exam otherthan 80% in +2 boards.?

i have given a test aieee and iit for btech this time but i have expect dont good score so it is abetter site to drop a year. so that i will prepare for next time please tell me it is wrong or right.

For getting admission in the BITS college, you have to apply for the entrance test of its own, known as BITSAT birla institute of technology and science admission test. The minimum percentage required in class 12th for appearing in bitsat is 80%. There is no other eligibility criteria for giving the entrance exam of bits.

For getting into BITs pilani,you may consider the following points:

> You have to get 75% in physics,chemistry and maths, you should pass12th.

> Also you should be appearing or passed with a proficiency of english.

Admission:

You can apply for BITSAT exam, for this.

Direct admission are given to board toppers of the state.

You may register for it at www.bitsadmission.com

BITSAT exams is conducted by BITS PILANI for admission to the BE/Btech Programmes

Eligibilty for the BITSAT exams is;

>> 12th Class Pass
>> Subjects in class 12th should be Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, english
>> Candidate should have scored minimum 60% marks in individual subjects Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics
>> Total aggregate percentage of marks in subjects Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics should be 75% marks
>> Candidate should have passed the English Subjects

10th Class marks is not required for checking the eligibilty for the BITSAT exams.

Only candidates who have passed the 12th Class in the year 2012 and will pass in the year 2013 can apply for the BITSAT exams in the year 2013

is physics theory marks and physics practical marks are added to calculate percentage
