Admission in the BITs, Pilani.

BITSAT entrance exam is conducted by BITs, Pilani for the admission to
any of the integrated first degree program of BITs.
To admission in the BITs, Pilani you need the following eligibility criteria :

Educational Qualification :-

The minimum educational qualification for the apper in the BITSAT is
passed the 12th class examination with Physics, chemistry and
mathematics with minimum 80% aggregate marks in PCM, at least 60%
marks in each of the physics, chemistry, mathematics and in english.

If you have 59 marks in English then you are not eligible for the BITSAT entrance exam.

all information regarding eligibility criteria of BITSAT. So please see

The requirement from the institute is that the candidate should have secured above 60% in Physics, Chemistry and Maths. Also the must have cleared the English subject. You do have the required educational qualification. But along with this it is a must that you appear for the BISAT exam. The exam is normally held towards the end of the year. The score in this exam is also important.

(1)Eligibility condition for BITSAT is that you should have atleast 80% in Physics , chemistry & maths. And 60% aggregate in all science subjest. Now you can check if you have 80% in PCM then only you are eligible...............(2)you are eligible if you have less then 80% mark in English .......

see for bitsat you should have more than 80% in your pcm in 12th board.As you have scored it you are eligible for it.There is no concern about your english marks.You need to give the online test and try to score more than 350 in it to get in pilani.

Yeah sure you are eligible to apply for the BITSAT examination.

Eligibility Criteria for BITSAT 2012 are as follows :

1. The applicant should secure 80% above in HS, having scored more than 60% in PCM each, from a recognized board in India.

2. Board toppers can get direct admission in Bits Pilani.

3. Good proficiency in English is also mentioned in the Prospectus.

So you are surely eligible to apply for this exam.

The examination is scheduled for a month, where the candidates can choose their own examination date according to their ease.

Its a computer based test, and so a basic computer knowledge is also required for you to apply for BITSAT.

Am i eligible for BITSAT after scoring 82 , 83 , 95 , 48 , in PCM and english ?

Sir i have phy-83 chem-88 maths-78 eng-50 i eligible or not

Marks in class 12 to get direct admission in bits ,pilani.
my marks are 88,86,92 and 88 in p,c,m and english.

Direct admission is only given to Board toppers.


Other candidates has to give the entrance test and based on the score of the entrance test they may be offered the seat


Eligibilty for the BITSAT exams is;
>> 12th Class Pass
>> Subjects in class 12th should be Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, english
>> Candidate should have scored minimum 60% marks in individual subjects Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics
>> Total aggregate percentage of marks in subjects Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics should be 75% marks
>> Candidate should have passed the English Subjects
