Firstly, I have to Inform you that, there is no minimum marks are decided by AFMC. So, there is no mimimum marks is required to qualify AFMC.

The Marks are depends upon the cutt off and number of application received.

The students are selected on the basis of merit list. So, you have to scored Maximum marks in this examination.

But if you have scored more than 60% marks in AFMC Examination, then definitely you will get selected in AFMC. So, please try to scored more than 60% marks in this examination, Only then you are eligible to select for Interview.

So, please work hard and prepare well for AFMC examination.

The (Armed Forces Medical College) AFMC is affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health Science, Nashik and is recognised by the Medical Council of India.


AFMC doesn't have any particular minimum marks, It's based upon cut-off marks only which differ every year with respect to the number students appearing in written exam...

Admission to MBBS/other course is completely based on written examination.

Written examination syllabus cover 10th,11th and 12th class's portion.

so to get in AFMC one has to generally acquire 60 to 70% marks, where as sc/st students have to be with in first 500 ranks in the written examination.

there is no such cut off set by the AFMC perviously
it purely depends on the marks scored by the students participating in the AFMC in that particular year
so you can get the cut off based on the previous year analysis
so according to me you should score around 65% of the marks in the AFMC entrance exam to get qualified and selected

There is no minimum marks criteria for AFMC. The cutoff is decided by the score of the applications.The students are selected on the basis of merit list. So, you have to score as much as possible. But if you have scored more than 70% marks in AFMC Examination, then definitely you will get a very good rank in AFMC. So try to score more than 70% marks in this examination. Only then you are eligible to be called for Interview.

My Friend ,AFMC qualification doesn't require any minimum marks or we can say that,don't worry about the marks at all because in this competitive exam only top 130 boys and top 25 girls are selected for interview by AFMC.So just do your best to get the best u deserve.

The selection criteria is decided by number of vacancies, i.e. 130 including boys and girls. So cut-off decides candidates who will be eligible for interview.

There is no minimum marks for AFMC exam.
It can be based on the merit list and maximum no.of marks.
In that you will be scored only 60%.This is minimum then you have to secure more than 60%.
So you have to prepare well and good hard work and to get good marks.

AFMC did not describe any minimum marks for joining. That all depends on

the no of applicants and their marks. The students are selected based on merit

list. All candidates should be medically fit as per laid down standards for the

Armed Forces.

Only unmarried candidates are eligible. Marriage during the course is not

permitted. The college is fully and compulsorily residential both for boys and girl.

the alumini of afmc are giving the information of cut off mark as 60%.

but regular details is not obtained from afmc board.

the cut off mark varies year after year.

when the question paper become so easy the cutoff may rise above74%

so it is better not to take cut off as your target at all.

take 2oo marks as your aim and work hard to attain it,

so that surely you will be in the selected candidates.

Why only 25girls select for AFMC?
For AFMC the qualifying marks for girls is 560 but for boys is 512.But why?
The difference is too much it should be minimized or should be equal for both then it will good for both.
