Minimum OGPA required for JRF 2017 examination
My ogpa is 6.47 in B.Sc. Agriculture (Hons.). So, in this situation tell me that can i give JRF 2017 examination? Am i eligible for that examination?

JRF examination is conducted by UGC twice every year.
The eligibility to appear for examination is :- Candidate must have passed master's degree from a recognised university. Candidate's age must be between 19-28 years. Candidate must have scored minimum 55% in master's degree. So, you cannot appear for examination with bachelor degree. But, if you have master degree with minimum 55% you can appear for examination. The minimum required qualification to appear for JRF ( Junior Research Fellowship ) is that candidate must have passed master degree from a recognised university.
So, if you do not have master degree you cannot appear for examination. The minimum required aggregate to appear for examination is 55% in master degree there is nothing to do with bachelor degree aggregate. The upper age limit to appear for examination is 28 years. The full form of OGPA is Overall Grade Point Average. JRF stands for Junior Research Fellowship.
Eligibility criteria for CBSE NET is: 1. Master's degree in any stream with 55% marks or more. 2. Age limit for JRF is 28 years. You can not apply for JRF after Bachelor's degree in Agriculture. You need to pursue master's degree to become eligible for this examination. |

About JRF:
JRS is Junior Research Fellowship. Academic educational qualification: Master's degree in any stream from a UGC recognized university. Percentage of marks required in master's degree: 55% Age limit for JRF: 28 years. About your eligibility: You can not apply for National Eligibility Test for Junior Research Fellowship after Bachelor of Science in Agriculture. |

No, bachelor degree is not sufficient to appear for JRF examination conducted by UGC.
The minimum eligibility to appear for examination is candidate must have passed master degree with minimum 55% and maximum age limit to appear for examination is 28 years. There is nothing to do with aggregate of bachelor degree to appear in examination. So, for more information about examination visit at www.ugc.ac.in. |
