I wanted to know about the minimum percentage for AIEEE..could you please provide to me the info about it

Minimum Percentage for AIEEE
The minimum academic qualification for appearing in AIEEE 2011 is that the candidate must have passed in final examination of 10+2 (Class XII) or its equivalent with an aggregate of 50% for the General category and 40% marks for SC/ST/OBC/PH category candidates.Those appearing in 10+2 (Class XII) final or equivalent examination may also appear in AIEEE provisionally provided they can submit there mark lists at the time of counselling.

I have attached the notification of the year 2011 hence please go through it.You can apply for the AIEEE exam next year.The applications will be usually available in the month of January neat year.Th notification consists all the details regarding eligibility,schedule of the examination and it's pattern.

i think you have asked the percentage required in aieee.

for your kind information their is no criteria of percentage in aieee. but to appear for aieee you must pass 10+2 or equivalent exam from any board of secondary education.

requirement to appear for aieee are

1) you must pass 10+2 board exam with minimum 45% , if you are obc/sc/st candidate.otherwise , if you belongs to open category then you must pass 10+2 boared exam or equivalent exam with minimum 50%.


so this was the requirement for appearing in AIEEE .

now i will give you some information about to qualify for aieee.

after passing 12th board exam , u will be supposed to be appear in aieee so this aieee exam is held generally in the last week of april.

the online registration can be generally done from the first week of december. and it ends generally in the second week of january .

after the result of the exam central counselling board decides the minimum marks criteria for different category students.

for example.
the minimum marks required to appear in central counselling board
for this year exam are

1) general category - 48 marks in aieee
2) OBC category - 45 marks in aieee.
3) SC/ST/AL PH category - 18marks in aieee.

by obtaining minimum marks required for counselling you will allowed to fill online choice form for taking admission in colleges under ccb (central counselling board).

this is minimum marks requirement to fill up the form , it doesnt means that you will get the seat in aieee colleges. the selection of yours is totally depend on the all India rank which you will get in aieee exam.

dear friend:-
requirement of aieee rank is different for different college.
some college take student on their sustain rank.
as pec , punjab engineering college , take student who has secured marks above 15%.
for nit college rank is rather very low.
this year for general student it is necessary to get 48 marks .
and for sc/st candidate it is 18

so it is necessary to get marks greater than it.

you have to passed in class 12th with minimum 50% marks to appear in AIEEE. The eligibility criteria for the admission in in the colleges or the universities through the AIEEE central counseling has has to pass the 12th board exam with the minimum of the 50% of the marks in the PHY,CHE and MATHS for the general category and 40 % of the marks for the SC/ST/OBC/PH from a recognized board ....

Also the students you are going to complete their 12th board exam in the year 2011 can also apply as the appearing candidates .......

So study well and score good marks and good rank so that you can get admitted in any of the NIT colleges ...

your question is incomplete....its unclear whether you are asking the eligibility criteria or percentage of marks to get into a college from aieee..
however,i am answering both:

<minimum marks required to get into a NIT/IIIT>

each and every college through aieee (talking about the NIT's AND IIIT's) end upto a rank of around 27,000...and this rank is estimated to be within a score of about 170 marks for general category...and hence the percentage marks required to get into a college through aieee is around 50%.

percentage is not necessary but ranking matter.according to ranking will be decided

I m belong to ST categories n I scored 39 percentage in physic,maths,chemistry...bt my whole subjct combination is 43 percentage..any chance of getin seat..pliz reply meh

if you got all india rank in between 10000-12000 then you got NIT.according to this your state rank is also good so you got good colleges...

HI,

A.I.E.E.E exam is conducted by C.B.S.E once in a year.

It is a national level exam.

Eligibility criteria:-
> Pass 12th with Physics, chemistry and maths with minimum 50% marks.
For ST/SC candidate minimum 45% marks is require.
> Must be above 17 year and below 25 year.
> Must be citizen of India.

sir, i have got 58% in 12th board but my age is 16 year in 2012. so, can i get admission in aieee collage if my aieee rank is good?

the pass percentage required in nearly 70%

There is no minimum percentage of marks per say that can definitely get you an admission in an engineering college of your choice as it also depends on the marks you get in your board exams.
If you want to just pass in AIEEE then you must get 50% in the exam if you are from General category.
For all other categories it is 40%.
But I would like to tell you again that passing in AIEEE does not at all ensure you a seat for engineering in any college.

sir i have got 43 marks in maths,63 marks in physics and 81 marks in chemistry in 12th board can i get chance to join NIIT if i got good marks in the engineering exam

You want to know about the percentage required for AIEEE exam.I tell you about the eligibility criteria for AIEEE exam:-
Candidate must have passed 12th with minimum 50% marks (General & OBC category) with the subjects of Physics,Maths & Chemistry ,45% marks required for SC/ST.
AIEEE written exam which will be base on objective type.So now you have to start your preparation for AIEEE exam .
