Re: Which is the most demandable branch in Engineering after 4 years?
Look, all branches are in demand because India has all kind of industries or companies to recruit people from any branch.
So excel in that branch whatever you take. Besides, Electrical, mechanical and civil are those branches which will remain evergreen and their demand will not fade away. But that does not mean that branches like Computer science, electronics etc are not demandable. If you have enough knowledge and interest in that branch, then you will definitely shine in that branches too. |

Re: Which is the most demandable branch in Engineering after 4 years?
Well, all is up to you, because I do not know your background. So its solely your decision, & I should not interfere.
Overall, I think ELECTRONICS & TELECOMM.,COMPUTER SC., ELECTRICAL,MECHANICAL ENGG. has high demands. But if are aspiring for IITs,you may study any engg. subject that suits you, as most IITs have a record of above 90% placement. Hope this helps... |

Re: Which is the most demandable branch in Engineering after 4 years?
Every human brain has different aptitudes. Some will find any branch of engineering difficult. Others will gravitate to certain branches because they find a special interest and a special aptitude for that subject.
For example, in Civil Engineering, you must have the ability to think on a big scale. The Mississippi River is flowing at a rate right now that would fill a professional football stadium with water in 50 seconds! That's a huge quantity of water, but something you have to conceptualize in your brain if you are a Civil Engineer. Electrical Engineers are much more process oriented. Push this button and electrons race all over the place. You must enjoy working, and calculating on a small scale. If you like that, then EE is not that demanding - it comes easy. |

Re: Which is the most demandable branch in Engineering after 4 years?
Dear Friend ,
First try to choose the branch in which you are really interested in and if you join the same as per interest , the career opportunities are yours . There are plenty of opportunities n jobs in any field if you are interested n passionate in that field . Anyway as per my knowledge n current trend I suggest Mechanical Engineering is the best dept because the number of core companies n core jobs are more as compared to other departments . And also the opportunities in public sector is more for Mechanical and it is evergreen field with no fluctuations . |
