Hello dear,

UGC represents for Union grants commission, they grant approval for universities if they are private,without it, the college is not good in short. If you are doing mtech after your MCA i suggest you go for

^ computer science
^ information technology
^ software engineering

They are good branch as related to your MCA,you can focus on software field. You can get chance to do research in Mobile Computing,Soft computing,Data Warehousing & Data Mining etc.

Here are some of the lists of private colleges that you can apply for:-

4.SRM University, Chennai
