Sir, I am a student pursuing my final B.Sc (commercial aquaculture) in Kakinada.Many are saying that in fisheries sector, government jobs are alloted only for B.F.Sc Or M.F.Sc candidates and not for the candidates of B.Sc or M.Sc (aquaculture). Is that the thing happening right now? Or else, if we have any government opportunities. Please encourage students like us.

There is nothing as such that you will not be able to avail a job in fisheries sector, you might very well avail a good job post after completion of your course mentioned above. Those who say that there is no scope might probably have no idea about the field, so you better need not worry and continue with your studies further.

Candidates from B.Sc in Aquaculture or M.Sc in Aquaculture are also eligible to get government jobs in the fisheries sector. Yes, candidates from the below back ground are eligible to apply.

I am sorry to say that candidates with B.Sc or M.Sc in Commercial Aquaculture cannot get Government jobs in fisheries sector.
Candidates those who have completed their Bachelors degree or Masters degree in Fisheries department from a recognised University can apply for the different posts in Government sector of Fisheries department. You must try for other job opportunities.
