I am a student intrested in engineering. I have two option computer engineering and software engineering. I am confused in which one is right option. Please tell me which is more demanding and which will be my right option?

You have to decide on the job profile that interests you. Computer engineering is a broader area where areas like programming, networking etc will be covered. Software engineering is more into the field of programming. If you plan to have a career in programming then software engineering is good option. But is better to take up computer engineering as it gives you are broader scope in career.

see,Computer Engineering and Software Engineering both are nearly equal subject.

but the main things is that Software Engineering is the specialization of computer engineering.

after doing Software Engineering if you can grab a job from your campus placement, then it is good.

otherwise you have to face problem.

as you know as it is a specialization of computer science engg. so some mnc company do not hire those engg branch. they strictly mention only computer science engineering holders are eligiable.

so computer science engineering is best option for you.

computer science engineering will also help you to get a govt jobs too.

As per my knowledge i think software engineering is best option coz day by day demand for talented software engineers is increasing, it is difficult but on the other hand beneficial too for bright career and better salary payment....MNC's need good and sophisticated softwares so SOFTWARE ENGINEERS are in good demand....:-)

i would personally suggest you to go for computer science engineering as it is a much broader field and has a larger scope..moreover,it covers up both software and hardware..so most of your software engineering will be covered here only..this also deals with hardware so you have a dual advantage in your hand..so go for CSE
chances of placement is much better in CSE

Both fields are very good for future preference.So its depend on your choice.You should choose one of them based on your interest.
Both fields having so much scope in IT sector.
Computer engineering gives the knowledge about both fields like software as well as hardware.So its a very good option to choose.
IT engineering gives knowledge about only software field.
So its better to choose computer field.
There are more scope for a computer engineer as compare to IT engineer.
So you can choose computer science branch for your future preference.
