Re: Percentage of graduation to get admission in LLB college in Mumbai?
LLB stands for Bachelor of Law. This course is taken up by students who wish to become lawyer. LLB is a very popular course in India as thousands of students aspires to become laywer.
LLB is a graduation course which can be taken only after completing graduation. Please note that there is another law course called BA LLB which is taken after the 12th standard. But for LLB, candidate is required to complete a graduation. There is no difference between the BA LLB and LLB course except of duration. Today there is shortage of lawyers in India who could represent common man and help them get justice. It is nice to see that you are interested in becoming a lawyer. As far as percentage criteria is concerned, it is same for Mumbai as for rest of the India. You can check out the complete details below. LLB Eligibility 1. A graduation degree from a recognized university. 2. At least 45 percent marks in graduation. 3. SC/ST need to secure 40 percent marks in graduation. 4. The upper age limit for LLB is 30 years. 5. There is 5 years relaxation in age limit for SC/ST. If you meet the above criteria then you can appear for competitve entrance exam to get admisison for LLB course. There are however colleges which also give admission on the merit. |
