They do not require 10th and 12th marks for CAT exam , They want only graduation marks.
Final year student are also applicable for CAT exam.There is no limitation for CAT exams attempts so you can try it maximum times. For specialized MBA program one needs to be a bachelor degree holder in any discipline and his marks should be 50% or above.
It does not really matters how much you got in class 10 or 12. There are different types of MBA degree which can be pursued and the eligibility criteria for each of them is also different. Go through the information below to learn more about it. The eligibility criteria for one year full time MBA program is bachelor's degree from a recognized university in any discipline. Minimum Age limit is 27 yrs at the start of the course. Not too old GMAT score is also required. For part time MBA program Bachelor's degree in any discipline is required. Diploma holders needs to have a minimum of 3 yrs of work experience. You have to sit for the entrance exam that test the analytical, verbal and numerical abilities of students. For specialized MBA program bachelor's degree, work experience, entrance exam and GD, PI results are taken into consideration. There is no percentage of marks required for 10th and 12th for application to CAT except requirement of percentage of marks in Graduation.
CAT - COMMON ADMISSION TEST is an entrance exam conducted by IIM(Indian Institute of Management) for admission to MBA course of two years duration in top Business Schools under IIM. The candidate having completed Graduation in any stream with 50% marks from a recognised University, is eligible to apply for CAT. There is no upper age bar for application to CAT. There is also no bar to the number of attempts to CAT. The selection of candidate for admission to MBA course is through written exam followed by Group Discussion and personal interview. The written exam is computer based comprising all objective type questions with multiple choice answer on the following subjects like:- -QUANTITATIVE APTITUDE -VERBAL APTITUDE -LOGICAL REASONING -DATA INTERPRETATION For more information you may log on to http://www.catiim.in |

The minimum marks required in graduation is 50%. There is no minimum cut off in the marks required in 10th and 12th standard for appearing for this exam. You can even appear when you are in the final year of graduation. But normally the institutes consider the academic record of the candidates during the admission process. Consistency is highly important especially in institutes like IIMs.

the most important criteria for eligibilty is degree percentage rather than a higher secondary education percentage.. so you need not worry now but in your further education you will have to work harder to to get good CGPA
but it is generally required from your side to get minimum of 50% in both the main exams |

I am a commerce student without maths. I just want to know that is this possible for me to start preparation from June onwards through coaching and prepare myself to give an attempt on december? What things i need to work on harder ? Please tell. Also my mathematics is not good.
