Re: Physically challenged commerce graduate and cost accountant is eligible for NET?
The minimum academic qualification required for the National Eligibility Test is master's degree in any discipline from a recognized university and the least percentage of marks is 55% for general category candidates and 50% for SC/ST candidates.
Your have done only graduation in commerce, so you can not apply for the exam. You must od post graduation with commerce stream or other to become eligible for the NET exam. Your physical criteria will not become barrier in eligibility for the NET exam. |

Re: Physically challenged commerce graduate and cost accountant is eligible for NET?
Your physical conditions has nothing to do with eligibility criteria for the National Eligibility Test. Candidates who satisfy the following eligibility criteria can apply for the exam:
>>Master's degree in any stream from a recognized university. Final year candidates of master's degree can also apply for the NET exam. The minimum percentage of marks required in master's degree in 55% for candidates belonging to general category and OBC category and 50 % for SC/ST candidates. There is no upper age limit for the lectureship. The upper age limit for Junior Research Fellowship is 28 years. As you have mentioned in query, you are commerce graduate and minimum requirement is master's degree so first do your master's degree then only you can apply for the exam. |

Physically challenged candidates are also eligible for the National Eligibility Test which is conducted by the UGC in the month of June and December every year.
**Master's degree in any discipline from a recognized university is required to apply for this exam. **Percentage of marks is 55% for general category candidates. So if you satisfy or meet these criteria, you can apply for the UGC NET exam as there is no upper age limit for this exam. |
