Yes, physically challenged candidates can appear for Civil Services Exam. As per the percentage of disability a candidate has, up to 10 years relaxation can be given.

friend some year give the relaxation for age and some year not give this is totally depend on cut-off marks if cut-off is high and not students available then give the relaxation. good luck.......... |

yes of course a person with pd can appear for ias.
there are scheduled posts..for PDcandidates. They get many relaxations like.. total number of attempts 7 The physically disabled persons should have disability of Forty per cent (40%) or more further you will get age relaxation of 10 to 15years according to your disability. relaxations according to following codes:: Code Functional Classification BL 1. both legs affected but not arms BA 2. both arms affected a. impaired reach b. weakness of grip. c. ataxic BLA 3. both legs and both arms affected. OL 4. one leg affected (R or L) a. impaired reach b. weakness of grip c. ataxic OA 5. one arm affected (R or L) a. impaired reach b. weakness of grip c. ataxic OAL 6. One arm and One leg affected. MW 7. muscular weakness B 8. the blind LV 9. Low Vision H 10. Hearing |

and age relaxation is upto a maximum of 10 years in the case of blind, deaf-mute and Orthopaedically handicapped persons. Yes ,physically challenged persons can apply for civil services examination but government will decide the post according to the person's disability and the age limit for applying for civil services is 21-30 and there is also age relaxation for SC and ST.

what are the oppertunities for the physically challenged student specially partially blind in government sector companies? if any criteria are given to the physically challenged students for the m.tech courses in iit?

of 31 followed by an accident. Am I eligible for reservation and age relaxation in civil services examination? |

yes ofcourse, a physically handicapped person can give upsc civil services examination. so will be given a relaxation in age of 10 years and relaxation in cut off marks also. also for the job, preference is given to the physically handicapped students.

hiiiiiiii i want to know about physical critreia for ips.i had an accident & damage my right hand but i can do any physical activities like exersice,weight lifting etc. but my hand dont like left hand . plz give me fast reply

Yes, a physically challenged person can apply for Civil service exam conducted by UPSC every year. But the Physically Challenged candidate can not be eligible to apply for IPS(Indian Police Service).
The eligible candidate must be an Indian National having either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass in any stream of education from a recognised University within the age of 21 to 40 years of age as per relaxation of upper age up to 10years for Physically Disabled candidate.
