Quote:
For Indian Navy and Indian Air Force, Physics and Maths are mandatory subjects in +2 but as far as Indian Army is concerned, it is not so. Candidates with or without maths in +2, may write the exam. However, the question paper is common to all candidates and comprise of two papers: General Ability Test Mathematics So, in order to qualify the exam, you will have to do well in maths along with general ability test. Though its true that candidates from arts stream may apply for NDA exam, for Army wing, but they too, will have to qualify Maths paper in the NDA exam to be considered eligible for the training program. |

Re: Is it possible for an arts student to appear for NDA exam?
Yes, it is possible for arts student to appear in NDA exam. NDA is an entrance exam for selecting peoples for Army, Navy or airforce. Your age must be above 16.5years and below 19years. You are eligible for appearing in NDA exam with arts as your stream but you can join only in army through that exam. For joining in navy or air force you must have chosen science as your stream in 12th std.
