sir i hav completed diploma in comp engg. I got 63% And i want to take admissiom for 1st yr in civil engg.wat wil be d process

My friend sorry to say you that it is not possible..
As you have done your diploma in Civil, so you have to do your graduation in Civil engineering or you can apply for a branch which is related to civil engg. like Mechanical, production...
But you can not oppt. for computer science...
For taking admission in B.tech you have to appear in lateral entry exams..
after clearing the exam you can take admission in B.tech depending upon your rank in lateral entry exam...

after diploma you can join in lateral entry for degree course in civil engineering but for this you have to give entrance in lateral entry basis JEE exam ,etc but as you have mention you have completed computer engineering in diploma & now you are interested to do degree in civil engineering for this you have to consult with the college according to your rank card which you have scored in the exam.......

if you want to take admission in 1st year of engineering in civil engineering branch then you have to appear in engineering entrance examination. after diploma of engineering you will be eligible for all engineering entrance examination. like a 12th pass general candidate you have to clear engineering entrance examination then you may take admission in civil engineering.

in other way you may take admission in engineering directly in second year of B.E/B.Tech through lateral entry examination. through this examination you may not be able to change your stream to civil engineering. you may change your branch into computer science related stream. but it may not be possible to change into civil engineering.

few institution will also offer you civil engineering even in lateral entry also. you may take admission there. but i think ad you have done diploma in computer engineering it's better to do engineering in computer science. then it will be more easy for you to learn the subject and also you will be more flexible.

for civil engineering you need to give the engineering entrance exam which is basically conducted by each and every state and also one is aieee . in it you have to scope good ranks in order to get admission in good engineering college. the exam is basically held in may every once in a year and form is found in december

AIEEE

i would first like to make you aware that since you have done diploma so you are eligible directly for second year through lateral entry program
so you may try out through aieee or some private universities since iit has no such provision of lateral entry

Well Mr. this is really a tricky Question as no one can take admission without an entrance exam , but still after donations some institutes definitely take a direct admission.So if you could afford that, you could definitely apply otherwise Mr. work hard , I know you will definitely pass the entrance.Good luck......

yes it is definitely possible until and unless you are comfortable with some amount donation to the relative institute .So i know its not easy but not hard either to pass the entrance.Good Luck.....
