Procedure to crack aptitude test of any exam can be divided into two parts...

1 ) Practice makes Perfect : When you say aptitude its all about practice they are n number of books which are specially for aptitude like R.S.Agarwal which is the best of all, you must find a perfect time to spend doing aptitude questions each day then you can realize the change in you in cracking the aptitude questions..

2 ) Know the patter : Now this very much important whenever you go for any aptitude exam that is to know the pattern of that company or competitive exam cause each exam have a set of questions which is followed every year so its better you go through the previous year question papers of the particular exam and know the pattern and prepare the questions accordingly....

In this way you can crack the aptitude test of any exam easily....

Practice active reading. Read atleast 30 minutes everyday. Try to solve aptitude questions as many as possible.

Try to understand the best solution of questions logically. Don't give up & stay calm to solve them.

Understand the concept of exam you are going to give. In some competitive exams, quizzes are asked more while in some they have more of mathematical problems. So, you need to go through previous years papers for the same too.

Develop a positive approach & motivate yourself.

Before exams, take good sleep atleast 6 hours & remain fresh & active on exam day unlike semester exams

Read carefully because, every word in the aptitude questions has importance, so don't skip words, otherwise you will sort out the problem in differnet way, which is actually wrong, but you think that you have done right. so be conscious while attempting every question.

at the time of solving any question paper, your attitude is the main attribute. How you think of that question matters.

There are some particular tricks for doing the aptitude questions they are not fixed you can make them by your own practice and solve as many questions as you can.

For this purpose you can refer the book written by R.S. Agarwal. famous book writer for quantitative aptitude. Main thing that you must keep in your mind is that practice always to control time the questions are not very hard but you have to do them in particular time.
