Hello Friend,
You are just in 1st year of your B.Tech in IT. Do not worry. There is a long way to go. Most students prepare for placements in the 3rd and 4th year. You should now concentrate now studying nicely now as the questions asked for placements and jobs will be from the subjects taught in B.Tech only. So if you study nicely then as it is you are giving yourself a better chance for getting the job. Placements will be conducted in your college campus also. For preparing for that, you can follow the books given below: Quantitative Aptitude by R.S Aggarwal Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning by R.S Aggarwal If you complete these two books thoroughly then you should do very well in the job selection process and would get your job.
