There are number of job opportunities for the candidates after completion of B.Tech course. It all depends upon the talent, skills and knowledge that the candidate is having whether to get a good job or not.

For many of the companies to be eligible for recruitment procedure, one should be of career 60 in the sense the candidate should have scored more than 60% of marks in all the acadmeic levels through out your career.

The selection procedure in most of the private sector companies is by
-Written test
-Technical Round
-HR Roud.

it is easy to get a software job for a B.Tech student.

all that you need to do is practise aptitude questions well to clear the written test.
do pratise from "Quantitative Aptitude " by RS Aggarwal.

after this one may conduct group Discussion round,
to clear this one round one should know the topic well.
mostly they give topic from latest issues of developments or on any new releases.
so read news paper daily s that you can know about all what happening around you.
you should deliver the content with confidence.
dont talk unnesasary things only for the sake of talking, always add a valuable point to the discussion.
dont argue on any point and give chance to others also.
try to be the initiator of the topic.
conclude the topic within the time limit.

if you follow all these then you can clear the Group Discussion round also.

after Group Discussion round one will have Technical Interview Round where they will check your subject and programming knowledge and they may also focus on your final year project.
so be prepared for this round.
have strong subject knowledge.

after this one need to go through personal interview or HR round where they will check your interpersonal skills.
be confident and answer the qestions with pleasant face.
should have good communication skills.

if you clear all these rounds then you can get a job easily.
