I am Anshika Srivastava pursuing M.Sc. in Food and Nutrition. I want to write the food inspector examination. But i am confused about my eligibility. So tell me about the eligibility criteria?

Here is given you the eligibility criteria for food inspector examination:

This exam is conducted every year by Union Public Service Commission.

Eligibility to appear in the exam:
A candidate must have done graduation.
Minimum age is 19 and maximum age is 28 years.
Age is relaxed in case of SC/ST for 5 years, OBC for 3 years and physically handicapped for 10 years.


Written exam and interview are the mode of selection.

Yes, you are eligible for food inspector examination.

If you have completed graduation degree from a recognized university then you are eligible for food inspector examination..

But your age should be in between 21 to 27 years.

My son done hospitality 3 years degree course from mumbai university can he eligible for giving food inspector exams
