Minimum Educational Qualification required for UPPSC Food Inspector Post:

Uttar Pradesh Public Service commission issues official notification for filling up several posts namely, Food Inspector, Sanitary Inspector and Allopathic Medical Officer posts. The basic educational qualification required in order to be eligible for UPPSC Food Inspector Post is "Graduate Degree" from a recognized university. The detailed educational qualification required is given below,

Educational Qualification:

>> Degree in Diary Technology or Food Technology or Oil Technology or Bio-Technology or Veterinary Science or Agriculture Science or Micro Biology or Bio-Chemistry Or Degree in Medicine from a recognized university.

>> Post Graduates in Chemistry are also eligible to apply for this recruitment.

>> Candidates must have successfully completed the Training under any organization as specified by the Food Authority.

The candidate who wishes to become Food inspector has to write the food inspector exam which is conducted by the UPSC every year in the month of July.Union Public Service Commission conducts All India Food Inspector Exam for the recruitment of food inspectors in various departments of India .

The eligibility criteria required for the food inspector post are as under :-

-The candidate must be an Indian.

- The candidate must be a graduate in agriculture/pharmacy/food technology/dairy technology from a recognized university.

-The candidate who have completed their graduation in Medical discipline are also eligible for this post.

- The candidate age limit to apply for the post is from 21 years to 27 years .

The selection process involves of

* written test,and

* Interview

Eligibility for UPPSC Food Inspector post :

<> You should complete graduation in any of the below streams namely

-- Medicine

-- Dairy Technology

-- Pharmacy

-- Agriculture

-- Food Technology etc.,

<> Graduation in medicine with minimum one year of internship in Food Inspection for the post of Food inspector.

<> Age should be in between these limits

-- Minimum Age : 18 years

-- Maximum Age : 25 years
