wht are the qualifications required to get into INDIAN ARMY...

There are different modes of entry in Indian Army. I am giving you its official site where you can find all the details regarding modes of entry.

Exams are conducted by UPSC to join Indian Army.
You can join Indian Army after 12th .
For NDA you should have completed 10+2 exam preferably with PCM.
For CDS you need to be graduate.
You can prpare for NDA,IMA,CDS,TES etc.
It will be preferable if you first complete your degree & look for it.
Also you should be physically fit.

Eligibility Criteria

Age: 16 ½ to 19 yrs

Qualification: 12th Class of 10+2 System of Education or Equivalent.

Marital Status: Unmarried

proper eye sight and perfect body fitness are must.

If you want to soldier you should be 10th Pass
You can also the give exam CDS conducted by UPSC to become Officer in Army
If you have engg. degree you can join as SSB Tech Man
If you are a simple Graduate yu can join as SSB Non Tech Man

according to my opinion , i don't know about the qualifications but i know only about one thing and that is having courage, determination towards army . and think about the lives of the poor people who are really finding someone to protect them.

there are two ways to join the indian army in the officers rank
1.NDA
this exam is held twice an year,and to write this exam you should be 12th pass or in the 12th class
2.CDS
you can write this exam after graduation or when you are in the final year of your graduation,this is also held twice an year

You can join the indian army by the following ways:-
1. NDA exam (UPSC) after completing 10+2
2. Direct entry if you have atleast 70% marks in PCM
3. CDS exam after graduation
4. TGS after graduating in engineering
5. UES when you are in final year of graduation.

You can join Indian army at different levels of educational qualification starting from 10+2.

The permanent commission provides opportunities for men with 10+2 /Intermediate, graduates and engineering graduates as officers. While the Short Service Commission provides opportunities for technical candidate, women candidate & NCC candidate.

The minimum qualification required for joining Indian army is 10+2. Te candidate has to take an entry level exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) to join NDA (National Defence Academy). It is restricted to boys between the ages of 16 1/2 and 19.

The UPSC also holds an all-India competitive examination, known as the Combined Defence Services Examination (CDSE), twice a year for University graduates or equivalent. Candidate should be in the age of 19-24.

If you want to join ARMY,you can join through:

1.NDA: eligibility is 12th pass and age: max 19 yrs.
2.CDS exam: eligibility is graduate from any recognised university and max 24 yrs.

There are different ways to join Indian Army for different ranks, some of them are as follows:-

NCC Special entry:-
Indian Army. NCC 'C' Certificate holders in age group 19-25 years can
appear directly for SSB for officers.

For education havaldar:

Qualification Required : Group X -B.A, B.Ed / B. Sc, B.Ed / BCA, for
education havildar in indian army

For Doctors:-

Candidate must be BDS/MBBS to join as medical officers.

For nursing female candidates:-

Female candidates are required who have passed B.Sc. ... (i) B.Sc.
Nursing / Post Certificate B .Sc. Nursing / M.Sc.Nursing qualification from a
recognised university.
Based on the merit in the written test, the required number of ...

For Soldiers:

Qualification required 10th/10+2

For officers:

Officers are selected through NDA and CDSE

--you should be 12th pass....ie. should be at-least 17yrs old.....
--so try for it when you cross 17th or your 12th standard board exams....

1)join it as an sipahi after completing your 10th.
2) write the NDA exam after 12th and can become an officer .
3) write the CDS exam after completing your diploma or degree.

You can very much join indian army through NDA exam conducted by UPSC twice a year if you fulfill the age limit criteria ie. 16.5 to 19 yrs.
OR
You can go after graduation through
1.CDSE(Combined Defence Services Exam) through UPSC
2.TGC(Technical Graduate Course) for engineering degree
3.UES(University Entry Scheme) for final year students
4.Short Service Commission

Well, you can join indian army through CDSE conducted by UPSC after doing Graduation in any field.
Age limit is 19 to 23 yrs for indian army

However you are not eligible for NDA Exam.

Hello Friend,

You are very much eligible to join indian army if you age is between 19 to 23yrs
through
1. CDSE conducted by UPSC twice year.
2. TGC (Technical Graduate Course)
3. Short Service Commission

If your age is more than 23yrs, you can join after doinf Post Graduation and go to Education Cadre.

1. For 12th pass students

2. For graduates in any stream
Mode Of Entry- CDSE, SSC

Well, sorry to say that you can not apply for a job in indian army as at the age of 27yrs you are eligible only if you possess a post-graduation degree.

After doing post-graduation you can apply for Education Cadre.
Age limit- 23 to 27yrs.

How to join military academy after bca ?

i have an eye sight prblm,, can i join Army or air force..?

If you want to get ajob in army

you can write afmc exam for mbbs or nursing

or

you can write CDS exam after engineering

You can write NDA exam to get into the National Defence Academy

You can also opt for the technical entry after 12 exam in naval academy

the requirements are different for different entry and you have to decide which entry you like.

As far as CDSE is concerned male candidates can go for permanent commission in IMA(Indian Military Academy) or Short Service Commission in OTA(Officer's Training Academy).
However female candidates do not enjoy such option. They can only join Short Service Commission in OTA.

Friend,

The extent of eye sight problem is taken into consideration for Indian Army.
For Indian Army the eye sight requirement is ......

1. max -2.5D for both eyes i.e. 6/18 without glasses correctable to 6/6 with glasses
2. Colourblindness till IInd stage in acceptable. Candidate should indentfy green and red colour
3. Nightblindness of any sort is not acceptable
4. Candidate should possess a healthy retina

To qualify for Indian Army you should sit for NDA examination.

You should fulfill the criteria for NDA examination.
The criteria is as follows :


1.You should pass 10+2.
2.Your age must be within 16.5 to 19 years.
3.You must be an Indian.

For get job in Indian Army,you have to apply in NDA exam.
NDA exam is conducted through UPSC.
for applying NDA,you should have min 60% marks in 10th and 12th standard.
you can apply CDS exam also but for applying CDS you have to complete your graduation with min 60% marks.
