You can join indian army by applying nda and cds exam which is conducted by upsc twice in a year.
nda after 12th
CDS after graduation

Indian Army can be joined through NDA(National Defence Academy), the entrance exam for which is conducted by UPSC twice every year.

The eligible candidate must be an unmarried Indian male having either appear for the 12th exam or pass in any stream from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good Physical and mental fitness.

Apart from this the candidate has to maintained a prescribed minimum physical standard according to their weight and age.

An attached file herewith may be referred for the required height, weight etc.

To join in army you need to appear NDA exam, so the complete details about NDA are given below.



NDA has three wings:-

***Indian navy,

***Indian army,

***Indian airforce.

NDA exam is conducted by the UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) twice in a year.

Eligibility criteria:-

The candidates who wants to apply this exam must have to complete 12th standard from a recognised university.

The candidate must be a citizen of india and physically fit.

The age limits are 16.5years to 19 years.

No upper age relaxation for this exam.


Only unmaried male candidates can only eligible, i.e girls are not eligible.


Selection process:-

***Written test,

***SSB interview,

***Medical test.

dear,

in order to join army you should have following qualifications:

--you should be unmarried

--you should be an indian

--10th pass with 60% age limit: 18 to 22 years job level is lower


--12th pass with at least 60% age limit: 18 t 25 years job is better level

--degree pass with 65% age limit: 21 to 32 years
