Hi friend,
You need to get 100 out of 200 marks in aggregate to qualify in CA-CPT exam.

COMPLETE DETAILS ABOUT CA EXAM:
There are 3 steps of CA exam conducted by ICAI. These steps are:
1. CPT (Common Proficiency Test)
2. IPCC (Integrated professional competency course)
3. Final exam
CPT:

First you do the registration for CPT. The registration fee is Rs 6000. The registration is valid till you give CPT exams regularly or 3 years whichever is more. CPT exam is of 200 marks consisting of 4 subjects namely Fundamentals of Accounting(60 marks), Merchatile laws(40 marks), general economics(50 marks) and quantitative aptitude(50 marks). Pass marks is 100. Exam fee is Rs 500/-
IPCC:
After you qualify for CPT you can register for this exam. Registration fee is Rs 9000/-. You can write it after 9 months of first registration. This exam has got 7 subjects divided into 2 groups, first group containing 4 and 2nd group containing 3. There will be 100 marks from each subject. 40% marks needed to qualify. Exam fee is Rs 1600/-
FINAL EXAM:
Duration of the articleship is 3 years. Fee is Rs 2000/-. After that you can give the final exam. If you qualify in the final exam you will get the CA final degree certificate which is very much prestigious and will make a bright future for you. The cost of registration for final exam is Rs 10000/- and exam fee is Rs 2250/-.
The total cost of complete CA course is about Rs 52,000/-
