NDA :- National Defence Academy

The Examination is conducted by UPSC for every twice in a year . NDA academy having three wings namely Army academy / Navy academy and Aiforce Academy .

Eligibility criteria for NDA Examination :-

You should qualified in 12th standard from recognized university . If your Interested to apply for Airforce or Navy academy then you should qualified in 12th Standard in science stream from recognized university and You should having the subjects like Physics / Chemistry and Mathematics etc... then only your eligible to apply for this examination .

Your age should be 16.5 years to 19 years and there is no relaxation is given for any category candidates . You should be physically fit for the examination . You should be Citizen of India . You should be unmarried male candidates then only your eligible for the examination .

The Important Notification for NDA Examination are published in Employment news papers and Official website of UPSC . You apply for the examination in both the online as well as offline .

Physical Qualification

Candidates must be physically fit according to physical standards for admission NDA Examination.

Height-

Minimum height for the Male 165 cm &
for ST 160 cm,for the SC/ OBC,is not

Minimum height for the Female 150 cm &
for ST 145 cm,for the SC/ OBC,is not

Chest-

for male minimum 84 cm. expansion 5 cm.
for female minimum 79 cm. expansion 5 cm.

Eye Sight-

6/6 or 6/9 distant vision.
J1 for near vision

NDA - NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY exam is conducted by UPSC twice every year for entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wings of NDA.

The eligible candidate must be an unmarried Indian male having either appeared for final 12th exam or passed within the age group of 16.5 to 19 years of age can apply for NDA.

NDA - National Defence Academy,this exam is conducted by UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) for candidates to join in defence forces of India which includes:

• Indian Army
• Indian Navy
• Indian Air Force

To join in these forces you need to satisfy the eligibility criteria for applying for the exam.This exam is being held twice in a year namely as NDA I and NDA II

Many candidates are rejected due to their physical standards because the cannot stand on the basis of physical eligibility. Therefore, you must fulfill the following physical standards :

Eligibility on the basis of Physical Standars :
• You should not be underweight or overweight
• Your chest size shoud not be less than 81 centimetres
• You should be free from any disease or disability
• Your heght should not be less than 157.5 cms ( for Air force should not be less than 162.5 cms)
• You should have proper eyesight with normal of 6/6
