Physical Standard for NDA Examination

Yes you can join Indian Air Force or Navy after passing 12th through cracking NDA entrance exam provided you fulfill other eligibility criteria.

NDA - National Defence Academy, the entrance exam for which is conducted by UPSC twice every year as NDA-I and NDA-II for an entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force.

The eligible candidate aspiring to join Indian Air Force or Navy of NDA, must be an unmarried Indian Male having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good Physical and Mental health.

The NDA can be applied through on line through official website of UPSC I.E. http://www.upsconline.com

The selection is through written exam followed by personal interview along with Physical Fitness and Medical Test.

You can join in Indian Air Force or Indian Navy through NDA exam because you have only 12th standard qualification .

NDA stand for National Defence Service Exam.

This exam is conducted by twice time in a year as NDA I and NDA II Exam .Through this exam , you can apply in Indian Army , Indian Navy and Indian Air force .

For this exam required some eligibility criteria , this criteria is given below-

Education Qualification:-

Completed 12th standard .There is no percentage criteria for the candidate.Final year of 12th standard can apply here .12th with Physics and mathematics can apply all wings other wise Indian Army .

Age Criteria :-

Your age should be in between 16.5 to 19 years.There is no age relaxation for reserved category.Your age now 20 years old so you are not applicable for NDA exam.

Citizenship:-

You must have citizenship of India.

Martial Status :-

Unmarried candidate can apply here .

Gender :-

Only male candidate can apply here .

You are really interested in Indian Air force or Indian Navy post then first complete your graduation degree .After graduation degree you eligible to attend in CDS exam.

CDS stands for Combined Defence Services Exam .This Examination is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission.

Air force conducts exam for x and y groups for which 12th is required
Navy can be joined through TES technical entry scheme..you need 70% marks in pcm to be eligible or this forms for this will be available from mid june

Dear Friend

The only entrance examination at the 10+2 level that gives opportunity to join the different wings of defense is National defense examination conducted twice every by the UPSC.

But the age limit for the NDA exam is 16.5-19 years and friend your age is 20 years ,so to be very frank,there is no chance for your at present to join the Air force or Navy depending upon your present qualification and age .

When you will pursue your bachelor's degree then after completing it or during your final year ,you can apply for the Combined defense services examination through which you can join the Air force or Navy.

The age limit for the different academies are as below:

Indian Naval academy:19-22 years

Indian Airforce academy:19-23 years

Indian Military academy:19-24 years

Officer's training academy:19-25 years.

Both male and female candidates can apply for the exam.You must be an Indian citizen.You should satisfy the physical requirements also.

The examination will have two stages:

1.Written test

2.Service selection board with medical examination.

dear member navy is better because it is having no off benefits .
indian navy is well balanced and cohesive three dimentional force,
the benefits are you and your family all so get .it is a central govt job

If you have done 10+2 with Physics , Chemistry and Maths then definitely you can apply for Indian Navy and Air Force.

You can join through NDA examination if your age is between 16.5 to 19 years and you are unmarried male. The selection will be based on the written exam, SSB and Medical Examination.

If you are not having age according to NDA then you can apply for Non Officer posts. For these posts the age should be between 17.5 to 23 years.

In Air Force there is Group X technical trade after 12th class with PCM.

In Indian Navy there is Posts like Artificier Apprentice and Senior Secondary Sailors.

So if you are 20 years old then you can apply for non officer posts in Navy and Air Force.

The selection will be based in the performance in the Written examination ,Physical fitness test and medical examination. Those in merit will be selected for the post.

You must have good physical health and eyesight if you want to join Defense.

Hello friend iam really sorry to say this you are not eligible for NDA(National Defence Academy) exam, as per your educational qualification you are eligible but as per your age limit you are not eligible because the maximum age limit to apply this exam is 19 years.
