First of all, I would like to tell you that bank clerk examination is conducted by IBPS and SBI. The eligibility criteria required for IBPS and SBI Clerk examination are prescribed as below:- * Completion of graduation in any discipline from any approved college or university for IBPS and SBI Clek examination. * Percentage not required in graduation for this examination. * Completion of 12th with 60% marks from any recognised board for SBI Clerk examination. * Age limit- 18-28 yrs. * Age relaxation- 3 yrs for OBC and 5 yrs for SC/ST contendors. * Nationality- Indian. * Good knowledge of Computer and English. The required qualification for Clerk for the IBPS and SBI are as follows: IBPS clerk eligibility criteria: >>From the year 2013 ,there are some changes in the eligibility criteria which are: 1.You must have bachelor's degree from a recognized university in order to be eligible for the IBPS 2013 Clerk exam. You need to show proof at the time of application that you have basic computer skills. 2.The age limit is 20-28 year with upper age relaxed for reserved category. SBI Clerk Eligibility criteria: The minimum requirement for this exam is 10+2 with at least 60% marks in it. The age limit is 18-28 years with upper age relaxed for OBC and sc/st respectively. Bank Clerical Exam generally conducted by SBI and IBPS(Institute of Banking Personal Selection).
The eligible candidate wishing to join SBI Clerical Exam, must be an Indian Citizen having comleted 12th with 50% marks in any stream from a recognised Board or having completed Graduation Degree in any stream from a recognised University within the age of 18 to 28 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate. For IBPS clerical Exam the candidate must be an Indian national having either completed 10th with 60% marks or having completed 12th with 50% marks or having completed Graduation degree in any stream from a recgnised University within the age of 18 to 28 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate. For becoming a PSU Bank Clerk you have to pass examination conducted by IBPS and SBI
They conduct there exams seperately for recruiting clerical staffs in the banks. Under IBPS total 20 banks are included and under SBI only SBI and its associates banks are included. Educational Qualifications for Clerical Post: -Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University. -Computer knowledge is essential and you must have studied computer as a subject in school or college. Otherwise you can do a certificate course seperately if not studied. Examination Pattern: - Objective Type paper having 5 sections i.e Reasoning, Quantitative, English , Computer and General Awareness. -You have to pass in each and every section and also have to clear overall cutoff marks. -There will 0.25 negative for every wrong answer and 1 mark for correct answer. -Those who pass will be called for interview and the merit will be prepared on the basis of marks in interview and objective paper. The State Bank Of India and the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection mainly conducts the Bank Clerical Exam every year for the recruitment of Bank Clerks in the State bank Of India as well as the 19 public sector banks that come under the IBPS. The IBPS Participating Banks are : The Eligibility criteria for IBPS Clerical Exam are : * The candidate must have completed graduation in any stream from any recognized university. * For IBPS Bank Clerical exam , the candidate must have secured a minimum of 60% marks. * Relaxation of 5% marks is given in graduation to candidates belonging to Reserved Category candidates. * The Age Limit : a) For General Candidates : 18-28 yrs b) For OBC Candidates : 18-31 yrs c) For SC/ST candidates : 18-33 yrs On The Other Hand, The Full Form Of CAT is Common Admission Test.
