Re: What are the qualifications required to apply for bank exams?
Dear friend,
Bank Exams are conducted to select the various candidates for the different posts in any Bank. There are many banks in India like ICICI, HDFC, State Bank of India, RBI, Kotak Mahindra, Indian Bank, Canara Bank, etc.. All these conducted Bank PO exam which is to recruit Banking Officials. This exam is carried out in two parts. The first one is the Written Test and after that the Personal Interview. -->> The Basic Eligibility Condition to sit for any Bank exam is that you need to be a graduate in any stream from a recognized college or university. However Mathematics is regarded as a compulsory subject if you wish to enter the Finance, Accounts, Cashier etc and similar other departments So make sure you fulfill the above stated conditions. This is the common criteria which I have stated above, however different banks would have their own recruitment terms and conditions. Eg : ICICI bank may ask for more than 60% in your 10, 12 and Graduation and similar other criteria's may be demanded out of the applicants. So you should always have your academics as their best. -->> Talking of the Age, if you apply in the government banks, your age should be from 21-28 years for GEN and 21- 30 years for Others. -->> You can take a maximum 4 attempts for the exams if you are GEN, 7 attempts if you are OBC and Unlimited attempts for the SC/ST. There are some Clerical exams also, which is of the lower posts and so lower salaries. If you are more than a graduate you would not want to apply for them. Hope this helps If you have a particular bank in mind, Please visit it's official website and from there you can get information as to how to apply for its recruitment procedure. Also some banks come for Campus Placements. Keep an eye on them as well. Click Here for the list of Bank Exams in 2012. All the best Regards #RJ# |
