What is the qualification required to study diplomo in marine engineering

Don't do it if you do not qualify the marine criteria in physical standards.

I know a person who did diploma in marine engg and didn't go to ship because he did not clear the physical criteria.

Check your physical standards before joining.

UG:



For admission in a bachelor’s degree, the candidate must have passed the higher secondary school certificate (10+2) examination with science subject such as biology, maths and chemistry. For IITs, It is mandatory to qualify in the Joint Entrance Examinations (J.E.E). The duration for this course is 4 years.


PG:



The eligibility criteria for pursuing a master’s degree are holding a bachelor's degree in (B.E/B.Tech) or any other equivalent branches of engineering. The duration for this course is 2 years.

You just need 10th pass qualification to become eligible for Marine Engineering Diploma course.

If you are 12th pass then also you can apply for Diploma in Marine Engineering.

But if you have passed 12th with PCM then it will be better to go for Degree course in Marine Engineering rather than the Diploma.

The admission into a the Marine Engineering courses is based on the entrance examination and you have to get a top rank in the exam to get admission into a top college.

To go for marine engineering you have to pass 10 or 12. you can go for diploma course , but after 12 you can go for degree . But there is a entrance exam in this you have to come in rank

Why do you say that doing PCM will be better than doing diploma if you want to pursue career in marine engineering ?
