I graduated as bs marine transportation but i work in a ship as a messman do am i qualify to take the deck officer exam even i dont have the experience in deck?

What is the necessary age limit, education (since I m doing g.p. Rating course) & sea experience??

i am graduate in bs marine ransportation iwant to take an exam for o.i.c bu the problem is i dont have any log book because i dont eroll my bs yet,,im gradute year 2000 it is posible for me to take an exam for o.i.c even i dont enroll my bs? and i have 10 years expireince a sea my position now is BSN

i passed nwko (deck)written exam.i have 50 month expreance in fg vessel but i don't have presea tranning . i passed 2 with physics chemistry math & got 60% marks in english in 2.can i give 2nd mate examination.

One of my frnd told me that required sea time is 30 is it true?

Deck Officer is also Known as Navigation Officer/Chief Mate.The basic work performed by this officer is the Safety Navigate the Ship and this officer is also responsible for Safety and security of Ship and Passengers.To become a Deck officer,you will require to meet these Eligibility conditions :

Educational qualification :-

• Your minimum educational qualification should have a bachelor engineering degree in Nautical Science/Marine Engineering.
• Your subject in Inter level should be Physics and Mathematics.

Age :-

• Minimum age of the candidate should be 18 years.
• Candidates age should not be above 24 years.

Marks required :-

• Minimum marks in 10+2 as well as Gradation/Engineering should be 60%.

Physical Standards required for becoming a Navigation Officer :

• Your minimum height should be 150 cms with appropriate weight.
• Your eye sight should be 6/6 with No Color/Night Blindness.
• You should be Mentally and Physically Fit to work in Sea Water.
  

For getting jobs as Deck Officer you will have to apply for Indian Navy Direct Entry Scheme Exam.

To do Nautical Science/marine Engineering course you will have to apply for JEE Mains Exam.This exam is conducted by the IIT for taking admission in Engineering courses/.To take admission in this course your qualification should be like this :-

• You should have Mathematics and Physics in Inter Level.
• Your minimum marks in Inter level should be 70%.

I am working on board as a messman last 4 contract each contract is 9 month but I want to transfer deck dide is that possible or no if possible then what is requirements what is age boundation what qualifications after transfer can I appear 2nd mate examination pls guide me
