i m completed 12th with 77%, so what is the procedure for merchant navy ?

You can join merchant navy as deck cadet after passing 12th .

The eligibility criteria to become a Deck Cadet are as under :-

-The candidate must have passed 10+2 in Physics,Chemistry and Mathematics group of subjects with at least 60 % marks from a recognized board .

-The candidate age limit to apply for the post is from 21 years to 24 years .

-The candidate should be physically and mentally fit as per the norms of the navy .

The physical requirements for a candidate to join merchant navy as deck cadet are as under :-

Height : 167 cm

Weight : 50 kg

Chest : 77 cm without expansion and 82 cm with expansion

Eye- sight : 6/6 without color blindness

-The exam is conducted in different stages.These are;

*Written Exam.

*Physical Test

* Medical Test

*Personality Interview.
