Re: Is the scope of B.Tech. is more than B.E.?
hi...
both the degrees are hiving same value and there is no difference in them, generally the only difference is that some colleges name the degree in computer science and it as b.tech were as course in civil and mechanical engineering as b.e, but let me tell you that there is no difference in them, the only changes in your future comes due to the branch you have studied rather than the whether you have b.tech or b.e |

Re: Is the scope of B.Tech. is more than B.E.?
Hi,
First make this clear. B.E. is Bachelor in Engineering while B.Tech is Bachelor Technology. Both degree almost mean the same and have the same significance but with a bit of difference. B.Tech follows the semester system ie 2 semester in each year that totals to 8 semester in the 4 years of the course. B.E. follows the yearly scheme. B.Tech degree is given by most reputed institutes including the IITs While B.E. degree in still followed by institutes such a BITS. So to sum up, There is no difference between BE and BtEch and their scope and future is same. No course is superior than the other. Let me take you back to history a bit, After independence,we had 2 types of universities, one that offered degrees in many fields like Sciences, Arts, Education and Engineering too; while the second type of universities offered only degrees in engineering. Those Universities which offered other degrees along with engineering named their engineering degree as B.E and those universities which offered only Engineering degree named their degree as B.Tech. So there is no difference between BE and BTEch. Also note that those universities which were previously offering BE are now switching to BTEch. Both BE and BTech courses are approved by the AICTE(All India Council of Technical Education) and the course is the same. I hope it is clear to you now. |

Hi,
There is nothing like B.E is better than B.tech.Both the courses are good and highly prestigious in future. You can choose the course according to the interest of yours. In which ever you feel you can do well and can get good grades you can choose that after all the marks will decide for you while choosing the job for you. |

Re: Is the scope of B.Tech. is more than B.E.?
I want to tell you that both B.E and B.Tech are the same and hence have the same value. The only difference in them is that some courses in engineering are known under the category of B.E and some are known under B.Tech but they both represent Engineering. Hence there is no difference.
