What is scope for Electonics & Comunication ? Where I can get a job & what is income ?

There is a vast scope for ECE students as it is one of the most demanded branches...you can do an additional embedded systems course with it...If you want you can persue your M.tech in this field and You will earn much higher than you expect as many industries like automobile industries are looking for ECE engineers...You can also apply for JTO for details

ECE is one of the most preferred engineering branches. After doing Btech, you can work in different areas like core electronics - embedded systems, communication industry like telecom, digitial signal processing labs, microprocessor manufacturing like Intel. You can diversify to other branches like computer science and get into lucrative jobs in IT sector. You can target VSSC, BHEL, DRDO and so on. research and academic jobs are also plenty.

Electronics and communication is a vibrant field for job seekers. An ECE engineer can apply for both government and private sectors.

Govt. Sector : government organisations like BHEL , BEL, BSNL , ONGC and other PSU recruits electronics and communication engineers as junior telecom officer(for communication) , as an techncal engineer or survey and maitenance engineer. Timely they advertise their vacancies and entrance test for this purpose. For example now a days BSNL are recruiting ECE engineers for JTO post.
Salaries in govt. sector is minimum 25K to 32K per month.

Private Sector: Many telecommunication companies: Nokia siemans or Sony ericsson recruits two times in a year.
salary for this is almost INR 3.5 lakhs.
Electronics core company like National semiconductors recruits at very high paypackage of 7 Lakhs.

This is only bright side of ECE branch, but since most of the student have persued this branch the competition is bit tough now a days. Hence to be forward one must persue training during or after engineering.

Now a days Electronics and communication branch is one of the best branches, it has various sources of income both in Software field and core company field. It has several chances if you got good percentage of marks, you can work what ever the field you want that is software or core side. The career option for ECE is to get a job from a better company or else you can do M.Tech.
After B.Tech you can apply for AAI exam, Navy, Army for technical side jobs where you can get a salary of minimum 40k+.

You will get a chance from both public and private sectors where there will be a minimum salary of 25K+. The hard you work and the progress will be increased to a maximum salary of 70k+.

I would like to mention some good company names that suits for ECE branch students

u can choose any of the above exam.
there ur pakage ranges is between 22,000-50,000.
for ur private companies r

Btech in Electronics and Communication gives you opportunity in the field like electronics manufacturing, design, saftware, communicaiton and networking.
After mba it gives you lot of opportunity at manegirial level.

Yes, you will get a good placement.. but there are some big MNC companies where they have eligibility criteria as only 2 backlogs through out the UG degree like TCS, Wipro, Acctenture etc... but you dont have to worry there are many small companies which are ready to provide job based on your performance and not with marks.. so just work hard till your last sem and try to have some good percentage am sure you will get some good company by then...
