Hello friend,
as you know mechanical Engineering is the core branch of Engineering. It has huge scope in govt. as well as private sectors. In government sectors you can apply for all the jobs conducted by UPSC and PSU or PSC. You can apply in the following GOVT. jobs: *IES *FCI *IFS *BSNL *JTO *IAS *IPS *DRDO *CDS .....and many more govt. jobs. You can appointed as a chief engineer in these jobs. |

You can apply for jobs in govt. sectors like- 1.SAIL 2.GAIL 3.BHEL 4.NTPC 5.ONGC 6.IOCL 7.RAILWAYS 8.DEFENSE 9.UPSC conducted civil service exams. 10.BANK PO exam etc.. You can apply for any of these. All the best. |

It all depends on ones talent and abilities .in india best source of income mechanical engineers get is through psu's rather than private sector jobs.if u tackled gates with below 500 rank then easily you can get direct recruitment in top central jobs.if not you can persue mtech from iits ,nits .it all depends on your abilities and thinking .hardwork is the only thing for mechies ,nothing can replace it .
